No more pain seriously? Pianist with pain for 5 years
by Juanita

OK so I am a pianist and I was diagnosed with repetative motion injury, then tennis elbow, they thought it was carpal tunnel at first but then the test came back negative. Long story short...I had physical therapy, meds etc. mildly/not effective pain for 5 years now....now they say I have fibromyalgia but really only my hands, wrist, forearm area and elbow hurt.
I think they are not listening to me really...I think it is just chronic tendonitis. Can this really go away for good with just icing and new ergonomics?
I am desperate...I even bought a home ultrasound kit...should I still use this?
I will try ANYTHING I just NEED to play piano.

Joshua Answers:Hello Juanita.
You ask, Can chronic tendonitis really go away for good?
Only Icing and new ergonomics? Probably not totally, not forever. (It will lower your pain levels a lot if you do it right, and enough, though.)
But with the RIGHT methods of self care, the short answer is yes. The actual answer is yes, but.
Yes you can get out of pain. Yes you can reverse 5 years of tightness, pain, and limitation. Yes, you can play as much as you want for the rest of your life.
But. But there is no magic bullet.
But it will take some time and some effort.
But you will need to do a small amount of maintenance over time to keep yourself pain free.
But, it's
totally doable.
Here's my top of the line recommendation.1. Order
'The Tennis Elbow Treatment That Works' DVD.
2. Get a
Phone Consultation with me before it arrives.
3.Use what you get from me and the DVD and apply like your piano career depends on it.
I'm available to answer questions, fine tune your self care, etc, until you are out of pain and confident about the future.
Alternately, you can just Ice Dip and Ice Massage as directed on the
How To Reduce Inflammation page. And that will go a long way to getting you out of pain.
As far as Fibromyalgia...doesn't sound like it, but you tell me if you have it or not, and we'll go from there.
And, yes, seriously, no more pain is possible, whether it's been 5 years, or 10, or 20.
Carpal Tunnel and Tennis Elbow and every other kind of Tendonitis is reversible, no matter how old or how bad.
It's amazing what can happen with the RIGHT methods.
