Huge relief with Reversing Guitar Tendonitis
by Brent
Hello Joshua, I have been a guitar player for about 40 years without any pain whatsoever.
Recently, I started accelerating my weightlifting and really started to bulk up, just to see what I can do at my age of 55. It has been great how my body has responded.
However, at the same time that I have bulked up, I have had severe pain at the base joint of my left index finger. This is the hand that I do chords and notes on my guitar. The E chord was particularly painful as that joint touches the edge of the guitar most directly.
It is a very sharp, piercing pain!!
I figured it had to have something to do with my increase in weight that I am vertically bench pressing, or the fact that I am doing military presses now with up to 45 lbs in each arm. I figured it had to be something in that system between my shoulder and my hand. That joint was getting more painful with each workout and each time I played the guitar!
I downloaded your guitar tendonitis program yesterday, and immediately started doing the stretching and began working my forearms as your diagrams show.
In 24 hours, I have been playing guitar pain free!! I had a huge weightlifting session today and can still play guitar pain-free! I have tried everything from Icy Hot to Blue Emu rub, but it was only temporary. Your workouts on the forearms have been nothing short of miraculous, in 24 hours!! Thank you so much!
I love playing guitar and play regularly at my church. I also love weightlifting, but was afraid, the two were not compatible anymore.
Thank you so incredibly MUCH!!

Joshua Replies:Hi Brent.
Thanks so much for the great review.
And, as I like to say, 'do the work, get the results'.
Not everybody is a 24 hour turn around, but it's not uncommon depending on one's particular scenario.
And, it would be wise of you to continue the self care protocol, because pain is only one of several factors in play all working together to cause pain and problem.
Point being, keep making those other factors better.
That's the trick to
Guitar Tendonitis...it's made up of multiple factors and you need to deal with all of them (some of them more than others, depending).
Having said that, you're learning the skill of how to get out of pain. Use as necessary.
Reversing Guitar Tendonitis is the complete plan to getting back to playing as much as you want (without pain).
I'm glad I could help. People having to stop playing guitar (or even just play less) because nobody has ever told them how to fix the problem just kills me.
